  I first heard about Ethan Yang through mutual friends. My friends booked him for weddings, family photos, engagement sessions...When I saw his work online, I was amazed. After meeting him and seeing his albums/work in person, I was really blown away. His artistic & creative ability to story tell through his photos is just amazing. After my fiance saw his website, he didn't want to continue our 'search' and wanted to book Ethan right away.   We both didn't live in the DC area and had to book Ethan remotely -he was totally easy to work with and helpful throughout the entire process.   Closer to the actual wedding day, Ethan was very communicative, open to what we wanted, and helped guide & plan our wedding day schedule. It rained on our wedding day, but Ethan and his assistant were extremely flexible, creative, and worked so hard to capture all our moments (even in the rain)!! Ethan took so many amazingly beautiful photos and we are extremely happy we went with him!!!

  Working with Ethan was so great from the start to finish. Great with communication and able to get you comfortable in front of a camera. My fiance and I are both pretty shy in front of cameras, but Ethan was not only able to get us comfortable , but he was able to shoot the most amazing pictures that really captured us as a couple.

  As a designer and largely visual person, wedding photography was Number ONE on my list of wedding priorities. :) I'm so so happy with my photographs and with how professional, how beautiful, and most of all, how artistic my photographs came out. We used Ethan for our wedding and engagement shoots. One of the most unique qualities of Ethan Yang Photography is how he can take classic shots and create such gorgeous compositions.   Ethan photographed my wedding in August, 2011. My husband and I knew that we wanted Ethan to photograph our wedding when we saw pictures from a friend's wedding that he worked on last summer. Photography is very important to us, and so he was the first vendor we booked as soon as we had a wedding date (and thank goodness because he has gotten very busy!). Ethan was wonderful to work with. He was flexible, kind, and completely devoted to us on our wedding day. He was with us every step of the way, and changed locations with us from the hotel to the venue. I am shy in front of a camera, but Ethan was calm and very positive. This allowed me to relax and actually enjoy taking pictures! In addition to all this, our pictures are simply amazing. Ethan has a fantastic eye, and all of our pictures are artistic and not typical wedding photos. Ethan captured our candid moments in a stunning and visually interesting way. He has been quick to respond to our emails, and even though our wedding was only a few weeks ago, we have a slideshow of pictures to share with our friends and family. We can't wait to see the rest! Ethan, thank you for your hard work and professionalism. We will treasure our wedding pictures always.

  When I saw pictures Ethan took of my friend Shari's wedding years ago, I knew that I had to have Ethan on my wedding day! As soon as I became engaged, I reached out to see if he was available, he books up really far in advance, so I was lucky he was available!

  I'm not exaggerating when I say that I have never seen anything like what Ethan creates. Ethan isn't just a wedding photographer, he is an artist who travels the world creating stunning visions. There is no one that can do what he does and though he is on the high end of price, I cannot imagine that he will be affordable for long--it is only a matter of time before Ethan's talents skyrocket him to super stardom where someone like myself will no longer be able to access his talents for less than a small fortune. If there is something you will splurge on for your wedding--it HAS to be photography! This is the only thing from your wedding that will last forever and no one can capture the emotion like Ethan.

  On the wedding day Ethan is like a phantom, moving in between people quickly and quietly he is unobtrusive and you forget he is there, documenting everything. His pictures are stunning, elegant, amazing. Thank you Ethan!
