He had recently completed a project on a Penthouse in PA and I was able to capture some of the great moments of everyone celebrating the successful completion of the project. As a photographer, I’ve been blessed with many wonderful encounters in my life. I meet people at various events; I meet new couples almost every week and sometimes, I get to meet very talented individuals for their portraits sessions. I’m grateful for the chances to meet some great people and to develop sometimes a life-long friendship.

Among the encounters I’ve had, I very much enjoyed the meeting with one of the coolest and most talented rapper, KingKan. While shooting photos for him, I was able to see the passion and love he has for his music let alone the talent, skill and professionalism that he carried in him. He was a strong individual with distinct charisma but he was humble at his heart.

Lately, he has been busy traveling to London to promote his latest album, raising awareness and funds to support Walk for Breast Cancer. On top of all that, he is currently performing at various shows! At his recent interview with “I AM DMV“ he shared a few of the photos that I took of him. Thanks KingKan for mentioning my photography. I’m looking forward to hanging out with you at one of your show soon!

Americana Manhasset Photo Shoot in DC. It was another amazing photo shoot. It was a seasonal fashion photo and video shoot for Americana Manhasset’s catalogue. The models and the crews spent a whole week in DC for this fashion photo shoot and I had a privilege to work with great artists from New York. They travel around the world for photo shoot every season for their catalogue; their last stop was France before they came to visit Washington D.C. What a dream job! Ron, the videographer was a really cool guy. He actually grew up in DC but he now works in New York City and enjoys what he is doing. You might wonder, ‘why do they need videographer for a catalogue?’ Now, it is a trend to have a video clip rather than just posting a still photos on fashion magazines.

I attended my very first wedding photography seminar and had a jaw opening experience. The seminar was conducted by two very extraordinary photographers in the United States perhaps internationally too. As for Joe, I first saw him when Apple launched Aperture, the software. He was one of the three famous photographers who spoke about this product. I like him and his works not because he is a celebrity wedding photographer but because of his passion for photography and his deep love for his family.

The wire_ Wrap Party

Wire, wire, and wire. Past six month was all about the wire. I spent more than 16 hours a day working with the Wire, the HBO drama. If I only have to work 40 hours a week then my work would have probably ended by Wednesday (my wife would have loved that schedule . I recently heard news that the Wire barely missed Emmy. With the crew’s enthusiasm for this drama, their superior professionalism and splendidly written script, they should have definitely gotten one. I am absolutely going to miss it.
